Updates and WooCommerce Chase Paymentech Released! February 26 2014

Hey everyone! We’ve got a couple of updates and and a new release we’d love to tell you about.

Updates

First, we know a lot of non-coders out there like our free WooCommerce Customizer, which helps change some of the standard WooCommerce layout, buttons, and text. We had some issues updating for WooCommerce 2.1 that requires some refactoring and tweaks, so we apologize for the delay in getting this out (of course this happens in the one we save for last ;) ).

You can upgrade to version 1.2.1, which is compatible with WooCommerce 2.1 and previous versions, and enjoy all of the WooCommerce tweaking your heart desires!

We’ve also recently updated the WooCommerce Product Retailers extension to support using buttons to purchase from a retailer rather than a dropdown list. This works especially well for those of you selling ebooks in various formats!

New Release!

We also have a new release we’re very excited about, as it’s been in the works for some time. The WooCommerce Chase Paymentech integration was released yesterday, which provides another great payment processing option for US merchants using WooCommerce.

We’re especially happy to let you know that you won’t have to go through the merchant validation process from Chase while using this official extension, as we’ve had the integration pre-validated for security by Chase for all merchants. Simply purchase your license, set up the extension, and start accepting secure payments via Chase :) . This feature alone can save you up to $150!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Chase no longer allows integrations to be pre-validated. Merchants will have to run through test cases on their site to ensure that the extension is running properly, and must undergo quarterly security scans. We’re very sorry to announce these changes, but are glad to know that merchants using this integration are able to benefit from top-level security.

The integration uses an iframe to send payment details directly to Chase’s servers while customers never leave your site to make the checkout process as seamless as possible while remaining PCI compliant. Even better, Chase fully supports WooCommerce Subscriptions and Pre-Orders so that you can accept payments via Chase for any product in your store.

This is where you stop reading and check out all of these awesome releases!
